Happy Friday, SitH families! A reminder that now that summer is here, it's time to get outside! Let your kids get their feet in the grass and let their imaginations loose. Follow their lead; a child who follows their curiosity never stops learning. π±πͺ

βDo not tell them how to do it. Show them how to do it and do not say a word. If you tell them, they will watch your lips move. If you show them, they will want to do it themselves." β Maria MontessoriπΏ

The caps and gowns are put away, but we're still celebrating our graduates!
Meet Parker, a future nurse practitioner headed to Creighton University to study nursing.
Parker shared what she'll miss most about SitH. "All of the Fall Fests and the water days."
She also shared how Montessori prepared her for college. "I feel more well-rounded and am better at visualizing abstract concepts."
Creighton, take good care of her. She's one of ours. Congratulations, Parker. π₯ππ .proft1609

What a year, SitH friends!
Our students are heading into summer a little taller, a little wiser, and a lot louder on the way out the door. Fair warning: they're bringing everything that Montessori taught them home. The world is their classroom now; let them explore it.
Registration is still open for all summer camps at both campuses. From bugs to outer space to soccer to world travel, Summer in the Hills is going to be all they talk about at dinner.
Have the best summer, SitH families. βοΈ

Congratulations to all thirty seven graduates of our 2026 Kindergarten Class! π
Kindergarten is where the first three years of Montessori culminate. It is a year full of firsts, from reading their first books to writing their first sentences to leading a classroom for the first time.
You see twenty five smiles; we see independent children who love to learn. We are so proud of every single one of them. πππ

Meet Olivia, a future member of the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University and an aspiring veterinarian.
"The lesson about the history of time really stands out. We looked at the development of life, from the Proterozoic Era to the Cenozoic Era. I remember the gifts of the phylum project and researching organisms in the encyclopedia."
"Montessori has shaped my entire approach to academics, but the most significant impact was always teaching me to be inquisitive. It has helped me make connections across subjects and knit together a more cohesive big picture of the world."
Go care for every living creature the way SitH cared for you, Olivia. Congratulations πΎππ

Meet Grayson, a future aerospace engineer.
"My favorite memory has to be spending time with my friends and classmates during a multi-day trip. I still reminisce from time to time not only on the incredible experience I had, but also that I got to share it with friends that I still connect with."
"SitH taught me self-accountability. The hands-on style shaped my work ethic and gave me the ability to problem-solve and overcome challenges that will inevitably occur throughout my life."
Grayson wants to build rockets. We're not surprised. Congratulations, Grayson.π ππ

Meet Vinny, a soon-to-be Red Raider at Texas Tech or Wildcat at the University of Arizona. He's still deciding, but honestly, he can't go wrong.
"My favorite memory is sleepaway camp with Mr. Gabe and Ms. Sara."
"SitH taught me independence at a young age, which helps me manage my work and my time."
Most kids learn independence for the first time in college. Vinny learned it at SitH. Go get βem, Vinny. ππ
