The summer issue of TASA INSIGHT introduces TASA's 2026-27 officers: President Roosevelt Nivens, President-Elect Jeannie Meza-Chavez, Vice President Walter Jackson, and Past President Chris Moran. The latest “Higher Education” focuses on how regional partnerships can benefit rural school districts. "Tech Take" discusses tips for handling student data privacy, and TSPRA Executive Director Patti Pawlik-Perales welcomes a new season of Celebrate Texas Public Schools! in "TSPRA Voice." In "Teacher Perspective," 2026 Teacher of the Year Vickie Wright looks ahead to a busy and important school year, and in "Leadership Perspective," Tory Hill of Channelview ISD and Dana Bashara of Alamo Heights ISD, both co-chairs of the TASA Visioning Refresh Committee, continue a series focused on The Texas Promise.
