This school year, we launched the Todos Juntos Little Library to provide free books for our students and families. By increasing access to books, we hope to foster a love of reading, create opportunities for parents to read with their children, and provide valuable resources for practicing English at home.
A huge thank you to for supporting our community through their Books for All initiative and donating books to our Little Library. Your generosity is helping put more books into the hands of families and inspiring a lifelong love of learning! 🫶📚

See you this fall!
Our hearts are absolutely full! 🎈🎓✨ We officially celebrated our graduating little learners last week, and it was a day packed with giant smiles, a few happy tears, and so many balloons!
This beautiful milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the village that surrounds our kids. A huge, warm thank you to our incredible ECE team, our dedicated TJ staff, board members, and wonderful volunteers. And to our amazing parents: thank you for your endless dedication, love, and commitment to our programs. You are your child's first and most important teacher, and we are so grateful to walk this path with you. 🤍
To our little ones heading off to big new schools: we are going to miss you so much, but we know you are going to shine so bright! 🌟

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Cathy McHorse, a local community leader and friend. While many of our current families never had the chance to meet Cathy, her name is one we should all know.
Cathy was a dedicated community advocate who worked tirelessly for early childhood education. The work she did behind the scenes continues to impact the lives of our little learners and the opportunities available to families in our community today.
We send our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones. Her legacy lives on in the classrooms, programs, and systems she helped build and transform. 🤍
We're devastated by the loss of our dear friend Cathy McHorse.
She joined our board last year, but Cathy and her husband Ed have been part of the Texans Care for Children family for many years. Cathy was full of life. She poured her passion into caring for friends and family and advocating for young children in her roles at United Way of Greater Austin, the Affordable Childcare Now Coalition, and beyond. Cathy was kind and generous with her time — always willing to take a call from our staff, partners, and local leaders who sought her advice.
Our hearts go out to Ed and her whole family. May her memory be a blessing. We will miss her.

On graduation day, we welcomed Representative Donna Howard to our center to see our mission in action and celebrate our graduates. It was a great opportunity to discuss how her legislative work aligns with our services for Central Texas families.
Thank you for touring our center and celebrating our students' journeys. We appreciate your continued support for healthy, empowered Texas families! ✨
