This Seminar will be hosted in Austin, TX, by Masters Ricky and Meghan Garcia of Next Gen Hapkido in Austin, TX, and Master Len Trevino of Bulgyo Mu Sul in San Antonio, TX, with support from Master Kevin Anderson and PSBN Dan Atherton of Gtx Family Martial Arts, and PSBN Marc Riley of Valor Hapkido.

**ARE WE MAKING LIFE TOO COMFORTABLE FOR OUR CHILDREN?**

As parents, our natural instinct is to protect our children from disappointment, frustration, failure, and discomfort.

But sometimes, struggle is exactly where growth happens.

🥋 In martial arts, children learn that:

• You won't master everything on the first try.
• Sometimes you'll lose.
• Sometimes you'll get tired.
• Sometimes you'll be nervous.

Sometimes you'll have to do something that's difficult—even when you don't feel like doing it.

And that's okay.

Because every time a child works through one of those moments, they're developing something bigger than a martial arts technique.

They're learning resilience.

They're learning how to stay calm when frustrated, how to keep working when something is difficult, how to accept correction, and how to get back up after a setback.

Those are skills they can carry into the classroom, relationships, sports, college, careers—and eventually adulthood.
