Capital Area Orff, a chapter of the American Orff Schulwerk Association, is a group of music educators in and around Austin, TX who use the Orff Schulwerk approach in their classrooms. We continually look forward to supporting each other and providing professional development workshops to teachers in the Austin area (future, current, retired) that focus on musical creativity and expression.

This year the Capital Area Orff chapter was in charge of the TMEA Orff business meeting! There was a great performance by Ellison Elementary’s Orff Ensemble and many happy door prize recipients!

DAVID ROW'S WORKSHOP IS CANCELLED
Unfortunately, due to mechanical issues with flights, David won't be able to make his flight to Austin. We are disappointed, but we are going to have to cancel the workshop for tomorrow. But don't worry - we will try very hard to reschedule it with him!!
If you paid for the workshop, you will receive a refund from Capital Area Orff.
Also, please try to contact any other music teachers in your district to make sure they see this important update.
