🎉 Celebrating Coach Casey Carter 🎉
15 Years of Westwood Baseball

After 15 incredible years leading Westwood Baseball, Coach Casey Carter is moving on to an exciting new chapter — and we want to send him off right.

Join us for a come-and-go celebration to honor everything Coach Carter has meant to this program, this team, and this community.

Congratulations to Nathan Taparauskas, our 2026 Varsity Pitcher Award winner!

Nathan made his mark on the mound as a right-handed pitcher for the Warriors. He will continue his academic journey at Trinity College, where he plans to study business before pursuing world domination.

Off the field, Nathan’s favorite athlete is Bob Knepper, his favorite food is peanut brittle, and his fun fact is that he used to have asthma and be allergic to nuts.

Congratulations to RC Cowes, our 2026 Varsity Golden Glove Award winner!

RC was a defensive standout for the Warriors as a shortstop and pitcher. Even more impressive, he didn’t start playing infield until going into 9th grade — and went on to earn Golden Glove recognition.

After graduation, RC will head to SMU to study Finance and will also complete an internship with Toyota Financial in Dallas.

Congratulations to Antonio Martinez, our 2026 Varsity Silver Slugger Award winner!

Antonio made a strong impact for the Warriors as a pitcher, outfielder, and first baseman. He will continue playing baseball at the collegiate level at Blinn College while majoring in business and learning more about real estate.

Off the field, Antonio enjoys golfing on the weekends, poker nights with the guys, and says he is better than Will at ping pong. His favorite athlete is Ezekiel Elliott, and his favorite food is Cabo Bob’s.

Wes made a strong impact for the Warriors as a pitcher and second baseman. After graduation, he plans to attend A&M.

Off the field, Wes is also a bowler, looks up to Nolan Ryan, and says his favorite food is sushi.

Congratulations to Lennon Court, our 2026 Varsity Spirit of the Game Award winner!

Lennon brought energy, personality, and Warrior pride to the field this season as an outfielder. A member of the Class of 2026, Lennon plans to continue on to college while also pursuing construction work after high school.

Off the field, Lennon’s favorite athlete is Jim McMahon, his favorite food is steak, and his fun fact is one of the best yet: he can lick his nose and elbow.

Congratulations to Justice Moore, our 2026 Varsity MVP!

Justice was also named Academic All-District and Academic All-State Honorable Mention. He plans to continue his baseball journey at Mary Hardin-Baylor, studying Sports Management and staying connected to the game he loves.

Nico brought steady play, versatility, and leadership to JV Orange as a middle infielder and third baseman. Inspired by the competitive edge of his favorite athlete, Johnny Manziel, Nico made a strong impact this season and has a bright future ahead as a Class of 2027 Warrior.

Congratulations to Kaden Hodd, our 2026 JV White MVP!

Kaden made a strong impact for JV White this season as a catcher and third baseman. This Class of 2029 Warrior brought toughness, focus, and a competitive presence to the field all season long.

Off the field, Kaden likes to lift, looks up to Shohei Ohtani, and says math is his favorite subject. His song of the season is “Starships” by Nicki Minaj.
