Through her teaching, Ms. Li has integrated the contest into both classroom and outdoor learning, helping students explore the intersection of art, science, and environmental stewardship.

Congratulations to IST tenth grader Eliza Chung on an incredible achievement at the Texas Fish Art Contest Awards Ceremony! 🐟🎨 Eliza earned 2nd place in the Grades 10–12 division and was awarded a $750 scholarship. We are so proud of her creativity, talent, and hard work…way to represent IST!

Every year, a group of IST parents comes together to organize an international family adventure for our community, turning “The World is Our Classroom” into a reality far beyond campus. 🌍✈️ Past destinations have included Morocco and Peru, with Mongolia coming up this summer!

Next summer, IST families are headed to Tanzania and Zanzibar for an unforgettable safari and cultural immersion experience. Families will explore Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti, connect with Maasai communities, tour coffee farms, participate in cooking classes, and more. Families may also choose to extend their trip to Zanzibar for snorkeling, spice farm visits, and a Stone Town exploration. 🦁🌿

Designed with IST families in mind, this educational travel experience blends adventure, culture, and hands-on learning in an unforgettable way.
