Joining us from schools across the country and around the world, our new Trailblazers spent the day touring campus, reviewing safety and operational procedures, and meeting with academic leaders to prepare for the year ahead.

As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we proudly honor the history, values, and spirit of our nation while reaffirming our commitment to shaping tomorrow’s leaders in our classrooms.

At IST, we are grateful to be part of a diverse, global community while celebrating the country we call home. Today, we recognize this historic milestone and the opportunities it inspires for future generations.

Congratulations to IST Secondary Art Teacher Ms. Lydia Li on being named the 2026 Richard M. Hart Educator of the Year by Wildlife Forever! 🎨🐟🌿

This national award recognizes educators who inspire students to connect with conservation, fishing, aquatic ecosystems, and the natural world through the Wildlife Forever Fish Art Contest. Through her teaching, Ms. Li has integrated the contest into both classroom and outdoor learning, helping students explore the intersection of art, science, and environmental stewardship.

We are thrilled to see Ms. Li's work recognized at the national level and proud to have her as part of the IST community. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! 💙

We were honored to celebrate our Kindergarten, Grade 5, and Grade 8 students at last week's Division Graduation Ceremony. As they take the next step in their IST journey, we celebrate their growth, accomplishments, perseverance, and hard work.

Congratulations to IST tenth grader Eliza Chung on an incredible achievement at the Texas Fish Art Contest Awards Ceremony! 🐟🎨 Eliza earned 2nd place in the Grades 10–12 division and was awarded a $750 scholarship. We are so proud of her creativity, talent, and hard work…way to represent IST!
