Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative: Host a Fellow in Austin

3DS is honored to have received a sub-award from the U.S. Department of State to be the Cohort Ambassador for Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative - YLAI in Austin, this summer 2023! This May we will welcome 15 Fellows to our ecosystem for leadership development, cultural immersion, and community building.

We are still looking for placements for each Fellow to have a professional development experience. We are currently looking to place Fellows interested in artistically creative and CPG organizations. Leave a comment or message us if your organization is interested!

Cube Ventures and 3 Day Startup are inviting young womxn entrepreneurs to register for a joint info session on the 17th of February at 3 pm CST.

Participants will learn about the Womxn LEAD CDMX pre-accelerator and other accelerator program opportunities for womxn being offered by Cube Ventures and 3DS.

Huston-Tillotson University recognizes the need for entrepreneurship programming and venture acceleration that is culturally responsive, community driven, and anchored in the rich legacy of innovation & entrepreneurship by BIPOC communities.

The Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) offers entrepreneurial education, incubator services, and technical assistance specifically tailored for underrepresented founders, minority & women owned businesses of East Austin.

We're thrilled to partner with the Huston - Tillotson University School of Business and Technology to operate programming at CEI.

While it’s important to acknowledge that some progress has been made in making entrepreneurial ecosystems more equitable, there is much more work to be done.

This , 3DS is highlighting solutions we can scale that both reduce barriers Black innovators and founders face and promote equity in tech and entrepreneurship.

Stay tuned for weekly updates this month about how through partnerships and designing new solutions, 3DS is working towards a future where equitable economic advancement is truly for all young people.

Meet Ra James, a leader in sustainability and intentional business design. He hosted a workshop with our cohort last summer where he encouraged students to take a breath and reconsider their relationship with the natural world around them.

Coaching and mentorship ensures long-term success for young people. 3DS mentors help our program participants build new ventures and advance in their careers.

Our work engages hundreds of volunteers annually in meaningful work that advances inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.
