Since the Gecko Fund launched on September 1st, we have already raised $9,525, which is incredible! Thank you to all who have given!
There are always a lot of questions about how funds are used and it is important to know exactly how far your generosity goes here on our campus.
Focus of the week: How Gecko Fund Supports our Teachers & Staff
*Each teacher gets at least $250 towards their classroom.
($500 for new teachers, or those switching grade-levels or classrooms)
For our staff, that adds up to $13,000!
*Substitutes for teachers to have the time needed for cohesive grade-level planning.
For our staff, that adds up to $6,000!
*Our staff appreciation team provides our amazing staff with their school shirt, meals, events, and gifts throughout the year to invest
in the people who give so much to our students!
For our staff, that adds up to $14,000!
The Gecko Fund is how we say yes to these initiatives and we want to continue to show up for our teachers as they get asked to do more with less every day!
