The "d" and "s" at the end of the word "cards" should actually sound like "d" and "z." You should feel vibration in your throat as you make these sounds. If you don't make these sounds vibrate, this word will sound like "carts."

Seeking an accent/language trainer to add to our team to work with adult students in one-on-one and small group classes at our Austin office.

Applicant must have some background in speech/communication/language including, but not limited to, degrees in related areas: speech pathology, communication sciences and disorders, or linguistics. The right person for the job will have excellent written and spoken language skills. Teaching/training/therapy experience is a plus. If you are bilingual or have learned a second language (even if you're not fluent), even better!

The job will start with a few hours per week and increase as the trainer gains experience and skills. We need someone who can devote 10+ hours per week at this point in time, including evenings and weekends. Flexibility is a must.

The job will involve in-depth training and support as you learn. We want someone who is able to work independently, but is excited to learn and grow as part of a collaborative team.
