Both Scottie Bands performed beautifully at this year’s UIL Concert And Sight Reading event! 🎉🎊

The Varsity Wind Ensemble received straight ones in both concert and sight reading (earning a Sweapstakes award), all while performing a challenging program.

The Non-Varsity Symphonic Winds received excellent on stage and superior ratings in sight reading!

We are extremely proud of our students. They have all musically grown so much! Thank you parents/caregivers, incredible private lesson instructors, Mentors, Scottie Band Boosters and Sponsors for your support in our program and students.

BAND DRIVE TOMORROW! Incoming Scotties will have the opportunity to try out the different instruments we offer! Directors will guide them to see which instrument naturally best suits them so that they can be as successful as possible while in the band program.

What a wonderful weekend we had at the Texas State Clarinet Fiesta! Our clarinetist had the opportunity to tryout professional clarinets, test out different types of mouthpieces, learn from some of the top performers and educators in the clarinet world, learn about the different types or clarinets, learn about materials and enjoy some wonderful performances. Mr. Corpus won a brand new clarinet and we all had a blast! 🎶 We would like to thank Dr. Vanguel Tangarov and his team for putting together another incredible Texas State Clarinet Fiesta! Thank you Lohff & Pfeiffer for everything as well.
