What makes a virtual conference worth it?

LIVE INTERACTION.

TxDLA Virtual (April 14-15):

→ Connect with peers in real-time
→ Participate in live polls and discussions
→ Network in virtual communities
→ Win prizes for engagement

Sessions are recorded if you miss one. But the magic is being there live.

Meet the expert leading TxDLA's final pre-deadline accessibility training:
Lynn Cagle is an Instructional Designer III at The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, where she's led the Instructional Design Team to meet WCAG best practices for 10 years.

As TxDLA's first Advanced Accessibility Certification recipient and a 2018 TxDLA Certified Accessibility Specialist, Lynn brings real-world expertise to our Faculty Digital Accessibility Micro-Courses.

With the April 24 compliance deadline approaching, Lynn will guide faculty and instructional designers through practical, hands-on training across four one-week modules (April 13 - May 8).

Each module is just 1 hour/day and focuses on YOUR actual course materials—so you're fixing accessibility issues while you learn.

Limited to 20 participants. Sessions span the deadline so you can train before April 24 and refine after.

24 DAYS until the April 24, 2026 WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance deadline.

If your courses aren't accessible yet, this is your final opportunity to get trained—with sessions spanning before, during, and after the deadline.

TxDLA Faculty Digital Accessibility Micro-Courses
April 13 - May 8, 2026

Four focused one-week modules designed for busy faculty and instructional designers:
📍 April 13-17: Essential Accessibility (before deadline)
📍 April 20-24: Multimedia & Empathy (ends ON deadline day)
📍 April 27-May 1: Advanced Content (post-deadline)
📍 May 4-8: Digital Environments (sustainable compliance)

Led by Lynn Cagle, TxDLA's first Advanced Accessibility Certification recipient with 10+ years leading accessible course design at Texas A&M University.

Why this works:
→ Just 1 hour/day—manageable during your busiest month
→ Discussion-based: work on YOUR actual course materials
→ Expert feedback on your specific accessibility challenges
→ Take individual modules or complete all 4
→ Limited to 20 participants

After April 24, non-compliant courses expose institutions to legal risk and deny students equitable access.

$200/module or $700 for all 4
