Our first spirit shirt day of the school year, and our Cougars are showing off their school spirit! We celebrated school spirit all day long as well as kicked off 8th grade bake sales, raising funds to help this class with the special events and activities their final year as Cougars brings.

Today, we celebrate the Feast Day of St. Louis King of France, the patron saint of our school and parish!

St. Louis was known for his deep faith, humility, compassion, and commitment to serving others. His life reminds us that true leadership begins with a servant heart, devoted to God.

We are blessed to carry his name and inspired by his example every day. May we continue to grow in faith, lead with love, and serve others with a heart like Jesus. ❤️

Our 7th grade girls have the special honor of bringing up the gifts during school Mass - a responsibility they experienced for the first time as 7th graders this past week.

Celebrating 5️⃣ Years of Service! 👏🏻💚👏🏻

Congratulations to Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Farias, and Montessori Aide, Mrs. Rivas, for five years of sharing their gifts, talents, faith, and hearts with our students and families. Their dedication to educating and nurturing the next generation is a beautiful reflection of our mission and the difference teachers make in the lives of our students.

We are celebrating one week of school today, and throwing it back to our New Family Orientation and End-of-Summer Social from a few weeks ago, where we welcomed many new students and their families to campus.

We enjoyed summer favorites of hot dogs and ice cream, generously donated by the Knights of Columbus No. 5967 and the St. Louis Catholic School Home & School Association (HSA).

A big thank you to all our new and returning families for joining us for a fun evening together, and to the Knights for their continued support of our school activities.

Every year, they gift every single student a backpack tag. This year’s tag has a prayer to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, patron saint of Catholic schools. Backpack tags are going home this week!

The KJZT Family Life is the first society of Czech Catholic Women in Texas, organized in 1894 at St. Joseph’s Parish in Yoakum, Texas. The organization continues to support the Catholic traditions of their founders, with faith and service at the heart of everything they do.

Our first Mass together is always extra special ✝️ What a beautiful gift to come together as a school community.

As we gathered in prayer, we were reminded of our school theme: Heart Like Jesus.

How can we have hearts like Jesus?
Holy in Faith. Kind in Deed.

Let us remember Fr. Craig’s homily, living out our faith each and every day, striving to have a heart like Jesus.
And, one day, we too, can be saints among the saints in heaven.
