Thinking of teachers everywhere as we wrap up room preparations, have gathered with our families at our back to school meeting, begun to meet our new children, and eagerly await being reunited with our returning kids.

Preparing for a new year takes every part of us, doesn't it? What a marathon of social/emotional work, organizational skills, spatial planning, handy person tasks, admin to do-items, supply purchasing... okay ONE more tweak to that shelf...

Then the most important work begins, connecting with the children and their families.
