One World Permaculture

OWP has been sleepy for a while now. Mike Wolfert is rocking Symbiosis Regenerative Designs and my focus has been 100% on all things WLLC for the last year (plus family, but it's all the same at this point).
Here is my newest project. We are connecting the gardens at WLLC to community through herbal medicine and preserving herbs, seeds, and starts for sale through out the year. Our medicinal forest garden has flourished beyond what I could have ever imagined as has our beautiful community. Check us out ~~~Caroline

As if there wasn't enough going on this Saturday, I'm hosting a sweet small group workshop:
Farm to Medicine

When: Saturday, April 22nd from 10am to 1pm

Where: Whole Life Learning Center

Cost: $40 - goes towards ingredients/materials and a bit for my time
I have 4 spaces left, PM me if interested

This hands on workshop will cover making:
Oil - plantain oil that you can make into a salve later
Salve- comfrey and calendula for all of your skin healing needs
Vinegar - oregano, sage and rosemary
Tincture - passion flower and lavender to help calm the spirit for a good night sleep
Honey - I'm hoping we will have some flowers popping that we can infuse because it is amazing!

All Herbal medicines will be made with organic local plants from Whole Life Learning Center.

cooler weather and an oportunity to honor Bill Mollison's life gave way for an epic day with our younger half of the school today. Every body was moving, working, pulling, harvesting, exploring, tending, caring and connecting.

Solidarity Statement - Black Permaculture Network We, the members of the undersigned permaculture groups and organizations, wish to publicly state our support for the BlackLivesMatter movement and the ongoing fight to end all police violence against communities of color.

The ducks enjoying fresh sunflower seeds while the corn and beans are enjoying more sun. The sunflower stalks will serve as trellises for the beans, cucumbers and gourds for the rest of the summer.
