🎉 Mason Whitfield promoted to Principal of Bee Cave Middle School!

📚 Mr. Whitfield brings more than 20 years of experience in public education and has served Lake Travis ISD since 2019 as Assistant Principal and Associate Principal at Lake Travis High School.

🎓 Mr. Whitfield earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Baylor University and a Master of Arts in Principal Administration from LeTourneau University. He brings a collaborative leadership style grounded in service, integrity, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.

💙 As an LTISD parent and active member of the Lake Travis community, Mr. Whitfield understands the value of strong school-family partnerships and is committed to creating an environment where every student can thrive.

💙 One of our district’s cherished traditions is honoring each retiree with a rocking chair as a symbol of gratitude for their years of dedication, service, and impact on students across Lake Travis ISD.

👏 Over the past two weeks, rocking chairs were delivered to campuses and departments throughout the district, where retirees were celebrated by their peers.

🔨 This year, the rocking chairs were assembled by Lake Travis High School Agriculture students and teachers. Thank you to Mr. Perry White, Mr. Kelly White, and the talented Ag students for helping make this tradition possible.

🎉 Kara Reeh promoted to Principal of Serene Hills Elementary!

🍎 Mrs. Reeh brings more than 10 years of experience in public education and most recently served as assistant principal at Lakeway Elementary School. Throughout the selection process, Mrs. Reeh stood out for her collaborative leadership style, commitment to student success, and passion for building strong school communities.

🎓 Mrs. Reeh holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Northwestern State University and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University–Texarkana. She is also currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change at Baylor University.

💙 “It has been a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated educators, engaged families, and remarkable students,” said Mrs. Reeh. “While it is difficult to leave a school community that means so much to me, I am excited for the opportunity to join the Serene Hills Elementary family and continue supporting student success in this new role.”
