⭐ We’re proud to share that Lake Travis ISD has earned an ‘A’ rating in the Texas Education Agency’s 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings!

📚 The A–F Accountability system measures student achievement, school progress, and performance among student groups. While these ratings represent just one measure of the incredible work happening across LTISD, we’re thrilled to celebrate the dedication of our students, educators, staff, and families reflected in this year’s results.

❤️ Thank you to our students, families, teachers, administrators, staff, and community for the hard work and commitment you bring to LTISD every day. We’re excited to keep building on this success throughout the 2026–2027 school year!

💛 We’re continuing the celebration of the incredible people who put the HEART in Lake Travis ISD!

🏫 Introduced by Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null, the Heart Award recognizes team members who lead with kindness, compassion, inclusivity, and thoughtfulness, making a meaningful difference for those around them every day.

🎉 For Round Two of our Department Heart Awards, Dr. Null, members of the Board of Trustees, department leaders, and colleagues headed out across the district to surprise another group of deserving honorees!

👏 Whether supporting students and staff behind the scenes or lending a helping hand to a colleague, these recipients embody what it means to serve with heart.

🦅 LPE hosts Kinder "Build An Eagle"!

🎒 Lake Pointe Elementary kicked off the first day of school with an extra-special surprise for its newest Eagles!

🧸 On Wednesday, incoming kindergarteners participated in a “Build an Eagle” activity, where each student received their very own eagle plush to fill with fluff and a special red heart.

❤️ Before placing the heart inside, students made a wish for their kindergarten year, creating a sweet keepsake to remember the start of their journey at LPE.

🎉 Students then named their new feathered friends and received birth certificates to commemorate their eagles’ birthdays. Superintendent Dr. Curtis Null even stopped by to join in the fun!

💫 Principal Karen Reich shared that she hopes students keep their eagles forever because, “Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle!”

🎉 Happy First Day of School, LT! ❤️

🌅 Bright and early this morning, our campuses opened their doors to welcome students for the first day of the 2026-2027 school year! Parents, siblings, and loved ones helped send our students off with a hug at the front door or a wave as the bus pulled away. 🚌

🏫 Our staff was overjoyed to welcome our learners back! There’s nothing better than seeing smiling faces, hearing laughter, and having our hallways filled with students again.

❤️ It’s going to be an amazing year, LT! Thank you to our families for choosing Lake Travis ISD and for being such an important part of our LT family.

🍎 Backpacks are ready, classrooms are set, and our schools are buzzing with excitement!

👋 This week, Lake Travis ISD staff welcomed students and families back to campus for Meet the Teacher at our elementary schools and Relays, Games, and Round-Ups at our middle schools! From finding classrooms and meeting new teachers to reconnecting with friends, it was a great way to kick off the excitement for a brand-new school year.

❤️ We loved seeing so many smiling faces back on our campuses and can’t wait to officially welcome our students back for the first day of school tomorrow!
