Elakshi's (my 5 yr old daughter)first water color landscape. I taught her in first with clouds, the other one she did independently. We did it yesterday to kill time on hot summer eve. She told me today that her version is missing white clouds in the sky.

Another best out of waste trial. This used to be my favorite book cover when I was kid. I used to print this whereever possible. Inspired from Archies and Hallmark cards then I used to paint such flower vase wherever applicable.

So it started with creating abstract sign saying"Live Laugh Love" on waste copper sheet covered cardboard which was not approved by. my daughter. She stopped me after I wrote Live on abstract backgrpund pattern. She wants her favorite God instead. So, I painted Shree Krishna on it. I used to sketch a lot of Krishna for her last year on her magnectic slate while telling her Krishna baal stories. She too adpoted sketching him freehand early this year on paper.

Birthday's are specials and when they are of preschoolers nothing matches the excitement. We had Anika's birthday in class today which we celebrated virtually. Everyone in class made a cake for her with wishes. I jotted down all the wishes on my cake for her. Bubbles to blow her worries, water gun to enjoy in her pool, dresses and make-up from fashion enthusiast, puppy as she wants one for herself.

Hat and Shoes are also important parts of clothing. We wear different kinds based on need, weather or likings. Kids loved learning importance of Clothing this week.

Sea theme cake topper for my Son's third birthday.

Elakshi's father's day poster for her Dad. Its a week day effort of sweetheart, where he appreciated her father's love. This is her independent project which was a surprise for me. Adhu also contributed in bits and pieces by pasting cuttings. It not only have love for her father but gratitude for all the things she is thankful for in life. On right is her king father with all the things they do along. She remembered all small things and tried to craft them. On left most corner is Devi Durga who gave her the family. Adhu is at left bottom while Mom is bottom right.

Kids are adorable and we should let them express themselves in any waý they want.
