The 2025 Austin Youth Summit was nothing short of special. I want to thank all of the attendees, the speakers, the performers, and the volunteers.
Personally, I got to see one of my favorite former students and people, Darrell D Hubbard, promote his children's book Blackematics. And through my nonprofit, Louise's Kids, we were able to give away some scholarships to current Huston-Tillotson University students who attended the Financial Literacy session led by University Federal Credit Union. I love my city and community.

Excited to share that I’m co-producing the 2025 Austin Youth Summit with the amazing Tai Black. AYS 2025 will be a day dedicated to inspiring youth, families, and educators across Central Texas!

Through J-4 Education Consulting's "Louise’s Kids initiative", we’ve equipped hundreds of students in Dallas, Austin, and the Rio Grande Valley with essential school supplies—and this year, we’re doing even more!

NEW for AYS 2025: We will award two $250 scholarships to high school juniors or seniors who attend our UFCU Financial Literacy breakout session, supporting their postsecondary goals and dreams.

Guess who played Santa de Chocolate' for Todos Juntos Learning Center? This guy! Ha! I love giving back to the community, especially in such a fun way.

I have been looking forward to sharing my experience from a recent trip to Algeria as part of the Legacy International, World Learning Algeria and U.S. Department of State reverse fellowship opportunity. Stepping foot on my ancestral continent of Africa for the first time was both spiritual and magical. I was so blessed and fortunate to be hosted by the incredible World Learning Algeria team and the country of Algeria left a lasting impression on me. I met so many wonderful people and my travel mates Kathryn Adabonyan and Taylor Kampia ensured there wasn't a dull moment. I want to thank Chas Moore and Ishia Lynette Adams for nominating me for this opportunity and Saada BERDJOUH and Saber Guedjiba for welcoming me to their beautiful country.

Thank you Terrell ISD for honoring me and my family this weekend by inducting me into the Hall of Honor for the class of 2024. It was a special weekend and I am truly humbled by the experience.

The last few weeks have been special. Graduating from AALI Austin and giving two discretionary scholarships away have truly filled my cup. Grateful for the opportunity to serve.
