August 2nd, 2026, we celebrated something extraordinary -- four believers who refused to quit. At the Light Christian University Class of 2026 graduation, we were reminded that God's anointed word spoken over your life is what carries you through every obstacle, every reason to stop, and every voice telling you it cannot be done.
As I shared from 1 Corinthians 15:57, God gives us the victory through Jesus Christ. And from Romans 10:17, faith comes by hearing the spoken, anointed word of Christ. That word is what parted the Red Sea. That word is what brought these graduates across the finish line.
Carmen Brady reminded us that we perish for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6), and Christine Wick taught us that the lesson is in the waiting. God is refining you even in the pause.
It is never too late. You are never too old. Your victory is already given.
