🅰️ Minnesota School Boards Association National School Public Relations Association

Austin Public Schools has been recognized by the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) with multiple Digital Media Excellence Awards. NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards “recognize outstanding education publications and marketing/informational materials, video/TV/radio programs, social media, and websites.”

NSPRA’s Digital Media Excellence Awards are awarded at three levels (Excellence, Merit, and Honorable Mention). One of Austin’s awards is at the Honorable Mention level, two are at the Merit level, and two are at the Excellence level.

Austin received the following awards:

⭐ a Newsletter Award of Merit for the Austin Packer Bulletin, the district’s weekly community newsletter (https://secure.smore.com/n/eg576),

⭐ a Podcast Award of Excellence for Packercast, the district’s bi-weekly Podcast (https://bit.ly/4vcU7li),
⭐ and a Website Award of Excellence for Accelerate Austin, the district’s strategic plan website (https://bit.ly/43HAVzM).

“Our goal is to make communication a strength, keeping our community informed, engaged, and confident in what’s happening across Austin Public Schools,” says Superintendent Dr. Joey Page. “Being recognized by NSPRA and top professionals in the field reinforces that we’re on the right track and continuing to grow in how we connect with families/caregivers, staff, and our community.”

According to Communications Coordinator Ryan Mayers, “there are a lot of amazing things happening in our schools, and our goal is to share them with the community and really tell the story of the district. This recognition means a lot to everyone at Austin Public Schools and is a real credit to the community.”

Triumph is seeded 3rd going into the 110 hurdle Finals.
Praise gave it her all, but fell short of advancing to girls hurdles finals.
Callie competes in pole vault tomorrow, and Triumph also has long jump tomorrow.

Tonight, we celebrated the Class of 2026, the 150th graduating class in school history. As these graduates crossed the stage, they joined generations of Packers who have helped shape our community and make a difference in the world.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are proud of you, grateful for the impact you have had on Austin Public Schools, and excited for all that lies ahead. Once a Packer, always a Packer. 🅰️
