Covington Fine Arts Academy Department

We have lots of Holiday cheer to spread this week! Tonight we have the Guitar Winter Concert, tomorrow night is the Band Winter Concert, and Thursday night is the Orchestra Winter Concert! See you there!!

Yesterday and today our Fine Arts Academy welcomed all the 5th graders from 12 elementary schools for our Fine Arts Holiday Showcase! We had some amazing performances from our dance, band, choir, guitar, theatre and orchestra, as well as an awesome slideshow showcasing all of the amazing art we have! Thanks to all who came and participated!

Our Fine Arts Team is excited and ready to start the new year! We have 2 new amazing teachers joining the FA team this year! Ms. Campos will be our new choir teacher and Mrs. LeBlanc will be our new dance teacher! Welcome to Covington!

The Covington Jazz Band performed at the Temple College Jazz Festival on Friday March 28th. They received Superior ratings from the judges and were awarded a superior performance plaque. Way to represent our school!!

We are so excited to see The Addams Family Musical opening tonight at 7pm! Show runs through Saturday. Hope to see everyone there!
