✨ A quick re-introduction of who I am✨
My name is Khanyisa, it means "light". My grandmother named me, she said I'd be the light of the family.
My clan name is Mamqwathi.
I am the eldest of six.
I left South Africa is 2010 to teach ESL is South Korea and now I live in Austin, Texas.
I've lived in South Korea, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Thailand, The Philippines, Australia and now, the United States and have traveled to other countries as well.
I LOVE people. I LOVE building community.
Kwantu is my brain child. She is at her inception stage but Im excited about what Im creating here.
P.S this photo was taken at the University I taught at in Thailand. This was the day I found out that you're not allowed to touch monks 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏾♀️
