Hey, everyone! My name is Hayden Dotson. I’ve been a camp counselor at Camp Cho-Yeh, a high school referee, and an umpire for softball, basketball, and football. I am a junior at Texas State University studying Exercise Sports Science and plan to go on to the San Antonio Fire Department. I am super excited to meet everyone at Camp 512!

My name is Vannex Lopez, and I’m a high school English teacher. I started my career in educating children as a Pre-K teacher at Primrose Bee Cave, and I loved my experience there. My favorite time of year was/is being able to enjoy the summers outside with the kiddos, taking the children on field trips, and exploring nature. I’m so excited to spend the summer with your kids and create core memories!

Hi everyone! My name is Atlee, and I’m so excited to be joining Camp 512 this year! I spend my time teaching 4th grade and hanging out with some awesome kiddos in the classroom. In my free time, you can usually find me soaking up the sun at Barton Springs or walking the hike-and-bike trail with friends. I can’t wait to explore Austin together and make lots of fun memories!

Hi, I’m Chloe!! I am currently a junior at Westlake high school and I moved to Austin when I was 5 years old. My favorite things to do here are surfing on the lake with friends, going to music festivals and concerts, trying new restaurants and doing anything in the sun!! I’m so excited to spend this summer with Camp 512!!

Meet Ms. Purvis! Ms. Purvis grew up in Dripping Springs, Texas, and recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Alongside her degree, she completed the UTeach program and is a certified dance educator in Texas. She is excited to begin her teaching career in a local school district for the 2026–2027 school year.

This will be Ms. Purvis’ third summer at Camp 512, and she is thrilled to be back for another fun-filled season! She is passionate about creating a positive and supportive environment where campers can grow, learn, and develop into confident, responsible young people—all while having fun in the best city, ATX! A few fun facts about Ms. Purvis: she loves dancing, swimming at Barton Springs, and exploring restaurants in Austin!

Hello, my name is Ava and I will be a sophomore at the University of Tennessee majoring in psychology and sociology. I graduated from Westlake high school and have grown up in Austin. I love exploring the city and trying new restaurants or paddle boarding on town lake! I look forward to a fun summer with everyone!

Hi!! I’m Lilla and this is my 4th year working with Camp 512. I’m thrilled to be back for another summer! I’m currently a music performance student at Penn State University, but my heart will always belong to Austin, Texas. I cannot wait to get the camp season kicked off with the best team and the best kiddos as we explore the abundance of adventure our city provides! :)

Hey y’all, my name is Jaden! I’m a sophomore Economics major at Texas A&M University, and I’ve lived in Austin for about 12 years, so I know my way around pretty well.

I love running and recently ran the Cap 10K with my girlfriend (she’s in the photo with me!). I also enjoy hiking, playing soccer, and getting involved in philanthropy.

I have three younger siblings who I love and adore, so I’m very comfortable working with kids and being a positive role model. I’m super excited to be part of this camp and can’t wait to meet everyone!
