FAQ: Are your classes an Acting Class or Business Class?

They are both!! All of our classes are designed to meet each student where they are -- both in business and in acting. A lot of our students in our beginning classes have never self-taped before or have been taping but not getting called back. We work on building materials and really understanding how everything works - from self-tape set up to Actors Access, Casting Networks, Backstage, and when you're ready - for getting representation. Acting-wise, we build authenticity in our scenes through improv and then pull that fully-embodied energy into our scripted scenes. We also work with character, tone, and pacing.

Advanced students who are repped regionally work towards getting repped on the coasts or in other competitive regional markets or towards maximizing their reach in their current region. Acting-wise, we hone in on pacing, character, tone, layers, nuance, how to really nail tone for co-star and guest-star auditions, as well as for film and commercial.

Happy Spring!!! May classes open in 3 days!! Most of our classes have only a few openings each month, so please inquire early if you'd like to join us for May!! Classes in TV, Film, and Voice-Over from industry professionals with decades of experience. Would love to have you with us!

Classes begin the first week of May, but registration opens April 15th!

All Classes are combination of Business instruction plus Acting Instruction designed to meet you where you are and help you get to the next level with your acting career. In a nuts and bolts sense, this means advising you on your materials, demystifying the process of getting an agent (or expanding your rep into different markets), and strengthening your self-tapes, all while working on your scripted and improv acting skills! :)

APRIL VO REGISTRATION NOW OPEN :)

Hey guys!! We are now enrolling for Steph Lynn Robinson's April VO Foundations classes! Classes are Tuesdays from 7:30-9:30PM CST and are comprehensive guide to all things VO - appropriate for beginning to intermediate level, as well as those who are completely new to VO and those who are repped actors looking to branch out into voice work. Would love to have join us on Tuesday nights if you're interested!

Steph also has just a few spots available for April in her VO Workout Lab classes - which are a deeper dive into VO work across commercial and animation, to help practice scripts and auditioning and help prepare students to record their demos once they're ready for that step. Her VO Workout Lab meets on Wednesdays from 7:30-9:30PM CST.

Hi! Getting a lot of emails about April classes! You can register for Steph Lynn Robinson's APRIL, TUESDAY BEGINNING-TO-INTERMEDIATE VO CLASSES now!! For all other classes, registration officially opens on March 15th! But if you'd like to pre-register now, you can absolutely send us an early bird email and get on the list! We often only have a few spots per month open up in some classes (since many students take ongoing), so it's always a great idea to register on or by the 15th if you're interested! Looking forward to having you for April classes! :)
