Come support our amazing beginning band students for their very first concert on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in the Bedichek Gym at 6:15pm!!

When we say Bedichek Band kids are the best, we mean, they are the BEST!! Our Wind Ensemble went competitive at Music in the Parks and walked away with Superior ratings and a first place win!!!! Our amazing Symphonic band went ratings only and walked away with Excellent ratings!! It was a long and HOT day, but we are so very proud of our kiddos. Go Bobcats!

Words can not express how proud we are of these kids for their performances at UIL the last 2 days! Our Wind Ensemble brought home excellent scores on both stage and in sight reading. These kids have worked so hard to accomplish big things. Kids, it’s time to RELAX and come back after spring break ready for new music and to prepare for Music in the Parks!

Excellent ratings on stage and in sight reading for our symphonic band!!!! We are so proud of these kids and all their hard work. Tomorrow our Wind Ensemble heads to UIL where we know they will make Bedichek proud!

New year, new UIL mascot. Cornelius the monster has now taken our 2024 UIL sight-reading plaque to our awards shelf. Danny the Dino awaits his 2025 plaque!! Let’s go Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, do it for Danny Dino!!

Bedichek Bobcat Band kids are the BEST kids!!! These 6 kiddos represented us at AISD All City Band and we could not be prouder of their hard work, dedication, and talent. We are so lucky to have such amazing students in our band program, all of you make us proud every single day ❤️

Congrats to our 2 winners for “Most Festive” for our Winter Concerts!!! Bryan and Elijah will have an extra $25 to spend during their holiday break. Thank you to ALL our amazing students for participating, we loved seeing so many creative outfits, decorated instruments, and holiday joy!

Our amazing Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble had a FABULOUS concert tonight!!! Words cannot express how thankful we are to work with these kids every single day. A HUGE shoutout Austin ISD Superintendent, Matias Sagura, for not only attending our performance, but for being a huge supporter of Fine Arts, our campus, our staff, our students, and our families!! It was an honor to have you at Bedichek and for your kind words at the end of our concert. Families, you have amazing students, thank you for entrusting us with them every single day. Have a wonderful holiday break!

Our beginners had an AMAZING concert this afternoon!! Thank you to all the families who were able to attend and join the Google meet (sorry for the technology delay). Our kiddos brought the holiday cheer and Bryan, one of our beginner trumpet players, won ”Most Festive!!” Even his trumpet dressed up for the event. Threw in a few more fun photos of some naughty elves that snuck some pictures on my phone this morning! Can’t wait for our Advanced bands to perform tomorrow night-I heard Santa might be coming back for a visit 😉

Families, check emails for the updated information on our rescheduled Beginning Band Concert!!! Our amazing beginners will be performing on December 17th during the school day AND the event will be recorded and live streamed for those that may not be able to attend!
