✨ A Historic Moment at Convocation 2026 ✨

For the first time, all four Superiors General of the Congregation of Holy Cross will gather to present together on Day Two of Convocation 2026 — offering a powerful, global witness to our shared mission and charism. 🌍💙

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Br. Robert Lavelle, C.S.C. 🕊️

As we continue to grieve the loss of Br. Robert Lavelle, C.S.C., we give thanks for a life of extraordinary service, quiet leadership, and deep fidelity to the Holy Cross mission. Alongside his many accomplishments, Br. Robert was the longest-serving member of the Holy Cross Institute Board of Governors and, in 2023, the first recipient of the Brothers of St. Joseph Award, a lifetime honor recognizing those who exemplify the Holy Cross charism.

Br. Robert was truly a giant among giants — known not for bravado, but for his quiet strength, kindness, wisdom, and unwavering focus on students and mission. His leadership shaped generations of Holy Cross educators, students and institutions, leaving a legacy that will continue to guide our work.

Before the Holy Cross Ambassadors program at St. Edward's University officially began, students like David Callier were already living the mission — showing up, serving, and leading with heart across campus.

David graduates today and is headed back to California to begin his new role with Comerica Bank! 🌴✨

We also celebrate the Moreau Scholars graduating alongside him — early ambassadors who embodied Holy Cross values from day one. Like David, these students graduated from Holy Cross High Schools across the country and abroad.
