We often hear terms like Raag, Aaroh, Avaroh, and Pakad… but what do they actually mean? 🎶

In this episode, we break down the fundamentals of a Raag and explore how these structures come together to create the foundation of Indian Classical Music.

Because before a melody moves us, there is a beautiful system behind it ✨

We often hear that raags can “heal”, but the idea was never about instant transformation.

In Indian classical music, raags were understood as ways of bringing the mind and body back into balance through mood, time, stillness, and emotion.

A morning raag feels different from a night raag for a reason.
Each one carries a certain emotional atmosphere and gently shifts how we feel while listening.

The deeper you listen, the more you realise:
you are not just hearing music.
You are entering a state.

Have you ever experienced a raag that changed your mood unexpectedly? 👇

A better singing voice usually comes from small corrections, not dramatic changes.

Breath control, slower practice, pitch awareness, relaxation, and consistency can completely change how your voice feels over time.

Most improvement happens in the basics people overlook.

Which one are you focusing on right now? 👇
