⭐️ Please join us in welcoming our new Assistant Director, Miss Katelyn Dickerson! ⭐️

Born and raised in Beaumont, Texas, Miss Dickerson began dancing at the age of 2. Her dance journey started in the studio, where she trained in ballet, pointe, tap, and jazz.

In high school, she was a member of the West Brook Stars Drill Team, serving as Junior Lieutenant and later Captain during her senior year. Following graduation, she became a Kilgore College Rangerette on the 81st Line, where she was selected as a Swingster and served as Right Middle Lieutenant her sophomore year.

Miss Dickerson then transferred to Texas A&M University in College Station, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health. While attending Texas A&M, she taught at a dance studio in Magnolia for two years, gaining valuable experience and discovering her passion for teaching.

After graduating, Miss Dickerson began her teaching career in Katy, Texas, serving as the Assistant Director of the Seven Lakes High School Sapphires Dance Team for two years.

Miss Dickerson is excited to begin this next chapter of her career at Lake Travis, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Cavalette and Red Ruby Dance Team family! We can't wait for our dancers to learn from her, be inspired by her, and watch the impact she'll have on our program.

Both teams have officially wrapped up their competition season and are now beginning preparations for Cavalette Encore.

This year’s theme, Dreamstate, promises to be an exciting and memorable show. Performances will take place nightly at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 25.
