and I met 8 months ago at a virtual meet-and-greet with .

Five minutes into our conversation about our respective alter egos, I mentioned that I’d likely NOT apply to , since it was a Thursday and the application was due that Sunday.

Anne replied, “I’m in. If you want to submit a proposal, I’m in.”

So we did. And we asked all of you to vote for us on PanelPicker.

Anne and I have collaborated for 8 months. Yesterday, we finally met in person!

We’re here in Austin at with close to 300+k others to see what’s new. And bring our Design Your Alter Ego workshop to the track on Monday.

It’s already been a great ride. Can’t wait for what’s next!

Beyoncé channeled Sasha Fierce. I bring out Dee, the badass. Recently a client showed up to a meeting with her bosses as Rebecca from Ted Lasso. The whole dynamic changed.

We all need an alter ego at times, right?

Sometimes it’s not because you need to be fierce and sexy on stage; it’s to do things outside your comfort zone: Sales, self-promotion, holding a boundary at work, being the over-the-top bullish CEO.
