Finals week calls for some extra support (of the fluffy, cuddly, and sometimes spiky variety). Thank you Divine Canines and Tiny Tails to You for the very cute study break!

At the 8th grade commencement ceremony, we celebrated the achievements, special qualities, and hard work of the Class of 2030. We are so proud of this class and we're thrilled to see all they will accomplish during their high school years. Congratulations, Class of 2030!

When Andrew Forrester spent four years teaching English at St. Andrew's, he had his students reading great stories. Turns out, he was writing one too! Earlier this month, a group of his former SAS students and colleagues headed to BookPeople to celebrate the launch of his debut novel, How The Story Goes - a story about grief, writing, love, and how to finish something that matters. Congratulations, Dr. Forrester! What an accomplishment - we are so proud of you.

Pollinator Palooza: a celebration of bees, butterflies, and proud second-grade researchers!
In their unit on plants and pollinators, students have been asking big questions like "how do plants grow and survive?" and "how do pollinators help plants grow?" They've also been learning essential research skills. At the Pollinator Palooza, second graders invited others to share in their learning. Students walked families through their original informational writing about Central Texas pollinators and educated about the changes we can make to help pollinators thrive. It's always special watching students teach their grown-ups something new! ðĶðŠīð
