Over the years, I’ve learned that building a company and building a valuable company are two very different things.

These three lessons changed the way I approached business:

1. SURROUND YOURSELF WITH LEADERS — NOT CHEERLEADERS.

Build a team of people who are smarter than you in the areas where you are weak.

People who challenge your thinking.
People who leverage your strengths.
People whose talents overshadow your weaknesses.

You don’t need people who always agree with you.

You need people who make you better.

2. BUILD SYSTEMS THAT REMOVE YOU AS THE BOTTLENECK.

Create processes and procedures that are proven, tested, predictable, and duplicatable.

Then give capable people the autonomy to execute them.

The goal is to build a company that can operate, grow, and remain profitable without requiring your constant involvement.

Because if your business depends on you every day to function, grow, and make money…

You don’t own a business.
You own a job.

3. BEFORE YOU CHASE MORE CUSTOMERS, LOOK AT YOUR LTV.

When companies want to grow, they usually look at three things:

• Raise prices.
• Acquire more customers.
• Open more locations.

But many founders overlook one of the most valuable assets they already have:

Their existing customers.

Before spending more money finding the next customer, ask yourself:

How can I create more value for the customers I already have?

Add services.
Add solutions.
Solve additional problems.
Deepen the relationship.

Increase your Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) by becoming more valuable to the people who already trust you.

These three lessons apply at different stages of the entrepreneurial journey:

PEOPLE help you build.
SYSTEMS help you scale.
LTV helps you maximize value.

Know which stage you’re in — and apply the right lesson at the right time.

And remember:

We’re not imposters where we’re going.

Sometimes we become imposters where we are because we’ve already outgrown the people, places, and spaces that got us there.

Growth requires becoming someone your current environment may no longer recognize.

Keep growing. Keep building. Keep moving.

I told you I was coming back…

Today at Coffee with The Chamber hosted by the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, I was back doing what I do best—building relationships.

Opportunities don’t just come from what you know. They come from who you know, who you serve, and who you help succeed.

Remember: It’s about The Who.

You have two choices:

Raise your income to the level of your dreams…

Or lower your dreams to the level of your income.

Refuse to lower your dreams. Raise your income.

Great catching up with the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

Had the opportunity to spend some time with Caleb Burton — former football standout with stops at Auburn, UConn, and Ohio State. Born in Houston, raised in Austin, and now beginning his journey in real estate while exploring a vertically integrated partnership opportunity with our team.

There is something refreshing about young people who are willing to bet on themselves, take action, and pursue growth while remaining committed to serving their communities.

The future belongs to those who show up early, stay hungry, and keep building.

Welcome to the journey, Caleb.

We are all a work in progress.

The self is always becoming—it is never a finished product. That’s why we should treat people as mysteries, not summaries. There is always more to someone’s story than what we can see.

Start by walking this path of awareness in the quiet of your own mind. Let God refine your heart, shape your character, and guide your actions. Then allow that same grace to flow into every interaction with the people He brings into your life.

Be kind. Be patient. Be understanding.

At the end of the day, we all share the same God-given dignity.

Juntos saldremos adelante.

Un fuerte abrazo y mis mejores deseos.

Leadership is the function of many, not the achievement of one.

I want to thank my partners and incredible leaders for their unwavering commitment to championing The Financial Revolution by identifying, developing, and deploying leaders back into their respective communities to teach the basic principles of how money works, how money grows, and how money multiplies.

My deepest gratitude and appreciation to ELECTRA GONZALEZ🔝 SPEAKER Y MENTOR ELITE EN FINANZAS PERSONALES, FS Consulting Group|Pedro Franceschi & Nazha Saade, and Humberto Carlos Luongo Marcano for organizing an incredible packed-house event in Doral, Florida.

A special thank you as well to our signature sponsor, Ethos For HGI, and Bryan Haire for delivering an outstanding deep-dive training boot camp.

It truly takes a village. Yet today, we have a generational opportunity—and obligation—to help present and future generations break the cycles of dysfunction, poverty, and illiteracy through education.

The House is NOT in session…

Thank you, and .official, for the warm welcome at the People’s House!

The Texas State Capitol is an incredible institution that proudly represents the people of our great State of Texas. It was an honor to visit, learn, and experience firsthand the place where so many important decisions are made.

My best wishes to all of our elected leaders as they prepare for the upcoming session.
