We had a fun-filled day in house! The kids enjoyed a special visit from Purdue Extension - Scott County, where they made their own butter to taste. We wrapped up the week with a fantastic trip to Schimpff's Confectionery, one of the oldest family-owned candy businesses in the United States! The kids loved watching a live demonstration of candy being made on century-old equipment. After enjoying some sweet treats, we headed to Henryville Forestry for a picnic lunch and some playtime on the playground. What a great way to end our week! Indiana Afterschool Network

We have had a great start to our summer program. We started out with a drawing activity and all of the kids amazing. Then we made bird feeders from toilet paper rolls, peanut butter, and bird seed. We enjoyed Terry "The Balloon Man" Kelley with balloons in a magic show we finished the week with foil art and Scott County EMS! works!!
