A story inspired a student, which inspired a class, to inspire a teacher to coordinate a tour to the Georgia Governor’s Mansion!
The students had an amazing time and loved seeing all the rooms and features they have learned about from Malcom Mitchell’s “A Magnificent Field Trip to the Governor’s Mansion” !

This November we incorporated sweet potatoes in our lessons and on our menus. Sweet Potatoes are November’s “Harvest of the Month” and we loved seeing so many of our families engaging with this hearty and healthy root vegetable at the grocery store and in their kitchens! ⏭️ Slide to see our November Challenge WINNER! 🏆

November’s Harvest of the Month is the Sweet Potato! 🍠 📸 Families are encouraged to learn about, shop, cook & eat sweet potatoes this month! We are asking for Storyland Families to share photos of their child and sweet potatoes by November 25th for a chance to be recognized and to win a prize!
