Moonlight Early Learning

We love Field Trip Friday 🥰

Today, our Moonlighters visited Belleview Park for some river wading, rock throwing, and a picnic lunch. A wonderful way to end our busy week!

Kinda chic to trust children with real work, real materials, and enough time to take an idea somewhere you didn’t plan.

🌙 WE’RE OFFICIALLY LICENSED!

After a lot of work behind the scenes, Moonlight Early Learning is now fully licensed by the State of Colorado and enrolling for the 2026–2027 school year!

I currently have openings for children 18 months–5 years old in my small, home-based early learning program in Aurora 80014 near Polton Elementary.

Moonlight is for families who want the comfort and close relationships of a small program, while still getting the intentional curriculum, developmental support, and educational experiences you’d expect from a high-quality preschool.

We use Creative Curriculum, Reggio Emilia-inspired practices, Conscious Discipline, and Second Step SEL, with individualized developmental tracking across 38 learning objectives. We also take biweekly field trips and offer enrolled families access to occasional Parents’ Night Out, weekend/drop-in care, and babysitting.

I’ve worked in early childhood education for more than 10 years as a preschool teacher, instructional coach, and program director. I have a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, am an American Red Cross Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid Instructor, and I’m currently completing my master’s at CU Denver in Education Research & Evaluation Methods.

Ages: 18 months–5 years
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30–4:30
Tuition: $325/week
Meals provided: Breakfast, Lunch, PM Snack
