Proud moment for Rye High School FBLA.

Last week, in our first year back after nearly 20 years, 7 RHS students competed at the Colorado FBLA State Leadership Conference (going up against some of the largest schools in the state) and came away with a Top 10 finish in one of our events.

More than that, our students showed up, competed, and represented our school and community the right way. Proud of how they stepped up.

As we continue building this program, we’re looking to grow our network of local businesses willing to invest in these opportunities for students.

Community partnerships help make things like state competition travel, leadership development, and real-world business experiences possible. This is about building future leaders right here in our community.

Day 2 at the Colorado FBLA State Leadership Conference...

While we were a bit disappointed that we didn’t have students advance to finals this time, our group has gained much from the experience and continues to represent RHS with pride.

Five students are heading into workshops, and two are preparing to serve as voting delegates at the business meeting.

We’re building a strong foundation for many future successes!

Day one of the 2026 Colorado FBLA State Leadership Conference is in the books!

Our students competed in the preliminary rounds today and are excited (and a little anxious!) to see if their names make the finalist list which will be posted early tomorrow morning. 🤞

They also had the chance to attend a workshop of their choice this afternoon, took part in the opening general session, and got to cheer loud and proud as Rye was recognized for reestablishing our FBLA chapter this year.

Students also enjoyed some downtime with Mod Pizza and Andy’s Frozen Custard.

It’s been a great experience so far and we’re proud of how they’re representing RHS!

Our seven state qualifiers have officially arrived and are ready to compete at the Colorado FBLA State Leadership Conference!

These students have put in the time, effort, and dedication to earn their spot, and we couldn’t be more proud to see them represent Rye High School on the state stage.
