Staff, Vector training is now live and can be accessed by going to teacher platforms and clicking on the safe schools link on the PCS website (https://preston-wv.safeschools.com/login). Your login is your employee id number. Other trainings may need to be added later based on state requirements, but you'll be notified in that case. If you are unable to access your account, please contact the personnel office at (304) 329-0580 and then dial "8".

Don't Shoot the Messenger...Just a reminder that all 200-Day staff will be returning on Tuesday, August 18th, with opening year sessions being held in Kingwood (schedule and locations to come at a later date), with students in Grades 1st-12th returning on Monday, August 24th, and those students in PK/K returning on Thursday, August 27th. We hope everyone has enjoyed their summer and continues to enjoy it, and we can't wait to welcome you all back for a new school year.

Late-night nature lovers—this one’s for you 🌙✨

We are hosting a Moth Lighting to discover incredible nocturnal insects found in and around Elkins, WV. Join us for this hands-on event as we use special lighting techniques to safely attract, observe and identify a variety of moth species native to our region. 🦋🔍

Please come dressed for the weather and bring a flashlight or headlamp. 🔦

All are welcome! This is the perfect event for nature enthusiasts of all experience levels. 🤓

Reminder: Would you like to join our team part-time, with opportunities to move into full-time positions in the future? Would you like a flexible schedule, which days you can work, which you can't? Sub classes for aides, cooks and custodians are being offered at the end of this month for Preston County Schools. Approx. 700 students, just like upcoming KES 1st Grader, Jackson Ware, are participating in the PCS Summer Feeding Program, sponsored by the USDA. Students from across the county have received their 1st of 4 pick-ups of breakfast items, lunches, and shelf-stable milks. PCS would like to thank Healthy Kids Inc., and Mandy Curry of Morgantown, for working with us on this program this summer, and No Kid Hungry for providing additional funding to make this program possible and a success. Happy Summer P-County!!!
