Rheumatic diseases are autoimmune and inflammatory conditions that cause the immune system to attack joints, muscles, bones and organs. There are many types of rheumatic diseases but some of the most common are rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, spondyloarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, vasculitis and gout.
