An exciting new chapter is beginning in Aurora Public Schools! We were thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new Health Sciences High School, marking a major milestone in creating innovative, hands-on learning opportunities for our students!

This state-of-the-art school will help students explore careers in healthcare, gain real-world experience and build the skills to become the next generation of healthcare professionals 🥼🩺

Made possible through our voter-approved 2024 Bond Program and incredible partnerships with UCHealth, Community College of Aurora, Aurora Public Schools Foundation, Governor Jared Polis and many others, this project represents a powerful investment in our students, our community and the future of healthcare!

👏 A HUGE thank you to all our partners and supporters, including Jacobs Solutions Inc., Bryan Construction and CannonDesign for helping bring this vision to life!

🎓✨ Relive the highlights from our annual APS College Fair!

More than 50 colleges, universities and community partners came together to help our high school students explore their options and discover exciting opportunities after graduation. Check out the video recap!

As we celebrate College Awareness Month, we're continuing to help students take the next steps toward their futures! APS seniors and families are encouraged to join us for Senior Application Night on Tuesday, Oct. 20 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Hinkley High School for FREE, hands-on help with college applications, FAFSA/CASFA, college essays and scholarships.

💡 Did you know? The FAFSA is now open, and Colorado's Free Application Days are Oct. 20-22!

We're here to help every student take their next step toward a bright future! 💙

More than 350 students from across 10 school districts recently gathered at our APS Stadium to participate in the annual 𝗚𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆! It was a wonderful day and an exciting way to compete, play and connect. 🏃‍♂️🫶☺️

Shovels hit dirt yesterday as we held a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate construction of the new P-8 school at Foundry slated to welcome students for the 2027-28 school year!

Opportunity for All! 👊

The annual APS College Fair put on by our College & Career Success Team connected high school students from across our district with representatives from nearly 40 colleges and universities PLUS branches of the military, trade and technical schools, and community resources.

The one-stop shop at the Ga***rd Rockies Resort & Convention Center served as a way to explore post-secondary pathways, gather resources, and connect directly with schools as part of APS’s commitment to guiding them through every step of their higher education journey 💪
