There aren’t many people who can fill the Benson Hotel reception space – but then again there aren’t many people who have advanced the pharmacy profession like our very own Joe Saseen, PharmD, Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs.
The event honored Dr. Saseen’s retirement from CU Pharmacy after 31 years of unparalleled service. In addition to pharmacy faculty and campus leaders, friends and colleagues from across the state showed up to share stories of humor and lasting impact.
Be watching for a feature story next week highlighting Dr. Saseen’s three decades of achievements. Congratulations, Dr. Saseen!

A full-circle moment. 🎓
In 1999, Dr. Jacci Bainbridge celebrated Phuong Nguyen's graduation from CU Anschutz Pharmacy.
This spring, they reunited on campus at Pathways from the Past, a CU Pharmacy alumni event, where Bainbridge, CU Anschutz Pharmacy alumna (Class of 1995), faculty member, and nationally recognized pharmacy researcher, returned to share insights from her current work.
Years later, their connection is a reminder of what makes the CU Pharmacy community so special: great mentors, lasting relationships, and a commitment to supporting one another long after graduation.
