PA-For-A-Day is underway! Thank you so much to University of Colorado Anschutz’s Associate/Physician Assistant Program for coming to Montview this afternoon! Our students are getting to learn about the medical field, what a PA is, and practice new skills like ultrasound, counting medicines, proper surgery wear and more!

"I'm a proud mama," said Montview Elementary School parent Marcelina Medranis. Her eight-year-old son Cruz's newfound love for reading (thanks to a newly-implemented tool called Paloma) is both heartwarming and refreshing. 📚✨🥰

In schools around the country and here in Colorado, kids are falling behind on their reading. Now, Aurora Public Schools has a new tool that's helping change that.

Montview has 100% attendance today and we are celebrating! 🤩🤩🤩

Attendance is vital for students’ academic success. And today is ✨extra✨ important because it is October 1 - also known as “October Count” day, a window used by the Colorado Department of Education to determine the per-pupil budget for every public school in Colorado, including Montview.

We prepared for today with:
-popcorn parties in our classrooms 🍿
-wear your grade level and classroom colors 🎨
-Mustang school store at recess 🧸

A huge thank you to all of our families for your partnership! This is only possible with your support!!

We are grateful for truly incredible teachers and staff at Montview!

To celebrate and appreciate our Montview team, we had special visitors on our campus today: the espresso, whose team treated our entire staff to hot or iced drinks of their choice!
