Graduation season is here, and one of our favorite traditions takes place at Fox Tech! 🎓🦊

One of the school's most time-honored traditions is the Staff and Teacher Clap Out. Before the ceremony begins, our graduates take one final walk through the halls and around the school, surrounded by the staff and teachers who have supported them every step of the way. As they make their way to graduation, they are cheered on and celebrated by the people who helped make this milestone possible.

It's a simple tradition, but one filled with pride, encouragement, and a reminder that our students will always have a place in the Fox Tech family.

And just like that, the 2025–2026 Menta Event Calendar has crossed the finish line!

Last week, we wrapped up an incredible year of student events with one of our most anticipated traditions—the ultra-competitive Menta Track & Field Meet. We got to see exciting races, field events, and unforgettable moments of teamwork, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Thank you to our students, staff, families, and volunteers who helped make this year's events such a success. We can't wait to see what memories we'll create together in 2026–2027!

I stopped by Menta Academy North's Open House to learn more about their programming. It was impressive to see social-emotional learning activities seamlessly integrated throughout the school, all designed to help students manage their emotions, practice empathy, set goals, and make responsible decisions. I am always deeply grateful for the dedicated educators at local schools who put their whole hearts into shaping young minds.

Ms. Kelly Carbone and Mr. Jason Kudelka go to Washington! 🇺🇸

This week, they represented our team in Washington, D.C., for NAPSEC Legislative Day, advocating for students and meeting with Illinois elected leaders, including Bill Foster, Congressman Jonathan Jackson - IL-01, and U.S. Rep. Abe Hamadeh. We are proud to have strong voices championing the needs of the students and communities we serve!

Another big event checked off the school calendar! Students from across the area came together at Menta Academy Midway for a day full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition during Field Day!

From relay races and sports to bouncy houses and games, students stayed active, cheered each other on, and made great memories. Of course, no Field Day is complete without treats — cotton candy and popcorn were a big hit!
