Today, two of our VEX Robotics Teams WON the Teamwork Champions award at the Burr Ridge Regional. These two teams are now qualified to compete in the State Championship on March 14 at Illinois State University.
As Teamwork Champions, they had 8 qualification matches that determined their rankings for the finals. After the qualification matches were completed, they were in 3rd and 4th place. In the finals, they get one final one minute run to score as many points as they can. Working together, they WON the entire competition and scored their highest point total for the tournament - 104 points.
We have one more regional tournament on February 22nd to get our remaining four teams qualified for the State Championship!
