Growing, learning, and connecting together. 🌻

We are so grateful for the opportunity to spend time with fellow Wildflower leaders and Montessori educators at the Montessori in the Mountains Conference.

As a growing school, opportunities like this remind us that we are part of something much bigger. We shared ideas, asked questions, reflected on our practice, and learned from educators who share the same commitment to children and Montessori education.

We’re returning to The Sunflower School feeling inspired and bringing home new ideas, new perspectives, and renewed energy for our classrooms, our team, and most importantly, our children. 💛

We are grateful to be growing alongside this wonderful Montessori community. 🌻

☀️🚗🧽 What an AMAZING day at The Sunflower School! 🌻💛

Today’s Car Wash & Lemonade Fundraiser was a HUGE success! Our children worked hard washing cars, serving lemonade, and having so much fun together. 🍋🫧

We are incredibly grateful to all of our families, friends, and community members who drove over, supported our school, donated, and cheered on our children. We cleaned SO many cars today! 🚙✨

Our hearts are full. 💛 Thank you for everything you do to support our little school and help our community continue to grow. Your support means so much to us—and especially to our children. 🌻

What a special day at The Sunflower School! 🌻💛

We were honored to welcome NaFFAA Colorado and OFAM to our school for a wonderful school-supply giveaway for our students and families! 🎒✏️📚

NaFFAA Colorado is dedicated to strengthening the community through charitable work, fundraising, disaster relief, medical missions, housing support, and programs that serve children and families in need.

OFAM supports Filipino-inspired small businesses in Colorado while building a welcoming multicultural community through cultural programs, networking, community engagement, and collaborative events.

We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and for choosing to support our Sunflower families. Seeing our students receive backpacks and school supplies with so much excitement made the day even more meaningful.

This is what community partnership looks like — organizations, families, and schools coming together to support children and create opportunities for them to thrive. 🌻✨

A huge thank-you to NaFFAA Colorado and OFAM for your kindness, generosity, and commitment to giving back. We are so thankful for this partnership and look forward to staying connected with you in the future!

🌻 Year Two at The Sunflower School! 🌻

What a special moment for our Sunflower community. 💛

A year ago, we were just beginning — building our classrooms, welcoming our first families, learning together, and turning a vision into a real school.

Today, we are starting our second year, and we are so proud to see how much we have grown.

Our school is growing.
Our team is growing.
Our community is growing. 🌱

Behind that growth are so many people who believe in what we are building — our wonderful educators, our children, our families, and everyone who has supported The Sunflower School along the way.

We are especially proud of this team. Each person brings their own strengths, personality, experience, and love for children, and together we are continuing to build the kind of school we dreamed about from the beginning.

Year Two, here we come! 🌻
We can’t wait to see how much our children — and our school — will grow this year.

💛 We also have a few spaces still available in our Elementary Montessori classroom for ages 6–9. We would love to welcome a few more families to grow with us!

Welcome back to school! Our first week back has been filled with little moments that mean so much — careful hands exploring Montessori materials, pencils moving across paper, friends learning side by side, stories shared together, big ideas taking shape, and plenty of sunshine and movement outdoors. 💛

We’re already seeing our Sunflowers settle into their classrooms, reconnect with friends, build new relationships, and rediscover the joy of learning at their own pace.

In Montessori, the beginning of the year is not about rushing into academics. It’s about creating the foundation:
belonging, independence, curiosity, responsibility, and community.

And this week, that foundation is already growing beautifully. 🌱Welcome back Sunflowers! Let’s grow together! 📚✏️
