Pride of Aurora Houn Dawg Bands

From PD lunch to Holly Jolly Tubas, TubaChristmas, and finishing out with Methodist Manor today, our Houn Dawg band members have been busy spreading holiday cheer this season! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our annual fall Band Carnival is one week from today! Make sure to buy tickets for games and food ahead of time from your favorite band member to help their grade win the band royalty crown. The fall Band Carnival is Tuesday, October 28 from 5-8 pm at Aurora High School. Hope to see you there!

2025 Marching Season Recap! Congratulations on an amazing season!

The weather forced a strange ending to the season, but we are immensely proud to announce our results from the Maple Leaf Festival today! In class A, the Pride of Aurora received 1st place, as well as a sweep on captions (music, percussion, and color guard)! What a way to end the season!

Congratulations to the Pride of Aurora Houn Dawg Marching Band on a wonderful day at Ozarko! We won Outstanding Color Guard, Outstanding Visual, and 2nd place in Class C Silver Division. Congratulations on a great run! One week left to clean and put the finishing touches on this show. Go Dawgs!

What a weekend for the Pride of Aurora Marching Band! After homecoming festivities Friday night, we got up dark and early to compete at the Valhalla Marching Festival at Parkview HS. In prelims the band received Outstanding Percussion, Outstanding Soloist, and 2nd place in Class B. We also advanced to finals, out scoring 4 larger bands in the classes above us to do so! Our finals run under the stadium lights was magnificent—so proud of the progress the students are making through the season. In finals, we moved up 3 more spots to earn 9th place!! Way to go Houn’ Dawgs!!

Royalty among us! Our very own Jasmine Koehler is Homecoming Queen! Congratulations!!
