NOTICE OF CLOSURE

As a planned budget-reduction measure, Thursday, July 2, 2026, is an unpaid furlough day for city of Aurora employees.

Most city of Aurora facilities, including Bicentennial Art Center, will be closed. Emergency services and public safety operations are not affected.

Please note that Friday, July 3, is a city holiday in observance of Independence Day, and Bicentennial Art Center will also be closed on Saturday, July 5.

Bicentennial will be closed 06/19/2026 for Juneteenth. We will reopen on 06/20/2026 with our regular hours of 9:30-4:00.

The glaze shed filled up in no time for this firing! All the pieces are unloaded, looking gorgeous, and ready to head home. Huge shoutout to Jason for yet another amazing fire!

Another beautiful firing has been completed at the Bicentennial Art Center! We’ll be in the studio and look forward to seeing everyone pick up their work. Thanks so much for filling our kiln with such creative and beautiful pieces.
