It's a Wonderful Light

Got a few more things up before I have to start tearing it all down. 😁🎄 Added some new trees to the driveway and a new DIY puzzle heart centerpiece on the garage to match the ones in the yard. Total light count this year: 200,000! Happy New Year everyone! 🎆

It's almost here!! Our 2025 Night will be on Saturday, December 13 from 6-8pm. Location is 4822 S Picadilly Ct, Aurora, CO 80015. We'll have many of your favorite cosplay superheroes and Disney princesses plus free hot chocolate and cookies. And the weather looks amazing! There is no cost for this event, but we're raising money for the Autism Society of Colorado and would appreciate donations during the event. To donate, just scan the QR code in the display. It’s pretty crazy how many extension cords it takes to power everything on the roof! 🤯 I’m up to 60 cords this year just for the roof. I’ll have more than 350 cords in the entire display.

I certainly WISH this was in my yard! For date night, my wife and I enjoyed an amazing experience all around and under the 110-foot Mile High Tree! 🎄

I can’t believe it has actually happened. This is something I’ve been dreaming of adding to the display for a few years. And now it’s actually in my yard gleaming in full Christmas glory! 🎄

May I introduce the “Tree Tree” (aka the Tree Squared). It’s 11 feet tall and is made up of 25 mini trees. Each of the mini trees has 1,000 lights for a total of 25,000 lights!

It took me three months to build all of the trees earlier this year. And my amazing friend Jeb Morgenegg built the structure that supports all of the trees. We just installed it this afternoon and I’m so excited that I may not sleep tonight!!!
