We are so excited to be celebrating Ms. Mel today, as she celebrates her 14th anniversary at The Goddard School! Ms. Mel has devoted the last 14 years to serving our Goddard school students and families, and she has been loved by all! We appreciate her sweet heart and loving approach to caring for her students. She is truly such a special part of our Goddard family, and we are so thankful to have her here!

This peer-nominated award has been given to Ms. Jessica because of her incredibly positive attitude and her willingness to give 100% all the time. Her co-workers describe her as patient and kind, and everyone agrees that she genuinely cares for our students. We are so thankful to Ms. Jessica for her dedication and hard work! TODAY IS THE DAY and we can't wait to see you there! Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
