The Lily and Hollyhock students had such a wonderful time last week at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science! They learned quite a bit about dinosaurs and fossils. The students spent a lot of time looking at books on dinosaurs, and getting to observe some real life fossils!

For the last few weeks of school, the Lily students will be studying Dinosaurs, and Dinosaur Ecosystems - and they are psyched. They will be reviewing different types of Dinosaurs and learning all about what they ate, where they lived, and what they were like, and we'll also be designing fun garden spaces with Dinosaurs in mind. They started our study this week by making their own Dinosaur fossils out of Polymer clay, and going for a scavenger hunt around the school to find a lost T-Rex!

It was Whimsical Day at Compositive Primary, AND we got to learn some new things about what fire fighters do! Thank you to the Aurora Fire Department team for stopping by and answering our students' questions!

It was a beautiful day for some Jazz! Our Kindergarten through 5th graders had the opportunity to see a jazz show at the today! For many of them, it was their first experience of jazz!

A few lucky Sunflower students are off to the State Capitol today to learn about our state government!
