This past Tuesday, we dedicated the day to honoring those who have fought and those who are still fighting against breast cancer. We proudly wore pink in support of the brave warriors around the world facing one of the toughest battles of their lives. 🎀💕

To everyone battling breast cancer, to the survivors, to the families and loved ones standing beside them, and to those we carry in our hearts and memories—we stand with you. You are not alone in this fight.

Together, we raise awareness. Together, we spread hope. Together, we fight. 💗🎗️

These wonderful ladies have been a phenomenal addition to our school, and we are so lucky to have them as part of our team! 🥰

Our preschool teachers are truly amazing! They bring creativity, enthusiasm, patience, and passion into the classroom each and every day. Through thoughtfully planned, engaging lessons, they create meaningful learning experiences that inspire our little learners to explore, ask questions, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. 🌈📚

🎉 How Do I Celebrate? 🎉

This week we are exploring the inquiry question, “How Do I Celebrate?” 🥳

We’ve been discovering all the different ways people celebrate special moments! We made greeting cards in honor of World Card Making Day 💌, had some silly fun with party hats 🎈, celebrated birthdays 🎂, and talked about the excitement of unwrapping gifts! 🎁

We also read Our Favorite Day of the Year and Festival of Colors 📚🌎 to learn about different holidays, traditions, and the many ways families and cultures celebrate around the world. ❤️

🌟 Teacher Shout-Out: Ms. Sam! 🌟

This teacher shout-out goes to our beloved Ms. Sam, our Pre-K teacher in Giraffes Can’t Dance! 🦒💛

Ms. Sam has been with us since the very beginning and is one of our founding faculty members. She has helped shape our school from day one, and we are so grateful for all the love, dedication, and heart she brings to our community.

Ms. Sam is a proud mama of three kiddos of her own, and she takes that same nurturing, loving approach into her classroom every single day. She has such a special knack for seeing each child as an individual and catering to their unique needs, personalities, and little quirks. She makes every child feel seen, valued, loved, and cared for. 🥰

Ms. Sam, our school truly wouldn’t be complete without you. Thank you for being such a special part of our family and for pouring your heart into our littlest learners. We are so lucky to have you! 💕

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
