The Wild Animal Sanctuary travels across America and around the world to rescue animals that are suffering. Each rescued animal is rehabilitated and released into large natural habitats with others of their own kind. Their remarkable recoveries lead to a life filled with friendship, love, freedom and joy!

The Sanctuary currently cares for 950 lions, tigers, bears, wolves, jaguars, cheetahs, leopards, mountain lions, mustangs, camels and other animal species throughout their four facilities, three of which are located in Colorado.

Going to restart something I did years ago when starting the nonprofit, AspirePBC, Inc. I am going to reinstitute my Fillanthropy Friday Campaign. Each week, I will make a $10 donation to a charity that YOU tell me about. Give me their name, their website if they have one, and where they are located. If you are in anty way affiliated with, havdonated or volunteered with that charity let me know that too, but it’s not a requirement to make a suggestion. I will take care of the rest and post their information here and on the Aspire page.

Here’s where I need your help: I want to donate to the charities you care about so I need to know what those are! Please post a reply here or dm me and I will add all to a working list that will be selected, in no particular order, each week.

It would be foolish of me to let today go by without recognizing that it has been one of my favorite days for several years. My buddy N was an incredibly special individual and a beacon of light and love to those he met in touch with his heart. Are you used to celebrate his life with a coloring book party but haven’t had the opportunity to do it for the last couple of years for various reasons. I still have coloring books available and I will continue to celebrate Ian‘s incredible contribution to the world that he lived in. There are lots of people who miss him inconsolably and my thoughts and prayers are with them especially on a day like today. But I remember what a special young man he was and I’m proud that I had the chance to know him.

This is the kind of people I aspire to be. It boggles my mind when I think how one person can make such a difference in the world. What great small seemingly insignificant thing can you do today that will make the world infinitely better decades from now?

Remember to do something nice for someone today, even if it's just paying for coffee or holding a door. It' Be a Little Ian Day. I see lots of friends already posting and it warms my heart to see how this little boy has touched and inspired so much love...do something nice and keep the love flowing today...or if nothing else, stick your tongue out and make a face at a fourth grader and make them giggle today. ;)
